I know a family in need. How do I request toys?

How can I request a toy drop box at my business?

Please see the Host an Event or Drop Box page for information and instructions.

Is it possible to have Marines at my event?

Due to current operational commitments and the number of event requests we receive each year, it may be difficult for Marines to attend every Toys For Tots event. Please submit your event requests as early as possible so we may evaluate our staffing.

How can my charity receive toys from your organization to distribute to needy children?

If you are a local charity, church or organization that distributes toys to families, please see our Request Toys page for more information on how to become a distributing partner. Toys for Tots does not distribute toys to individual families.

So glad you asked! Volunteer support is invaluable to our campaign each year and we are thankful for all those who assist us. If you would like to volunteer with us please see our Volunteer page for more information and opportunities.

What is the minimum age for children to volunteer?

The minimum age for warehouse volunteers is 10 yrs old. Children younger than 10 can usually participate at our Media Week locations. Children younger than 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18. Check the Media Week sign up site page for more info.

I sent in a request for assistance but haven't heard back?

During the months of January - September we have a limited number of volunteers so replies to inquiries may take longer. Although our staffing increases (slightly) during the campaign months of October - December, due to the number of inquiries and requests we receive there may also be a brief delay in response times. You can be sure we read every question and request! Some events require logistical and personnel coordination so please be patient. If you have not received a response within three days prior to your event please follow up with us.

What will I be doing when I volunteer?

Volunteer work at our warehouse may involve sorting toys, building and stacking boxes, building pallets, cleaning, receiving truck deliveries, etc. Our warehouse manager will provide instructions upon arrival. We do require parents of children under the age of 16 to be present at all times. Media week site volunteer work may involve receiving toys or money, sorting/bagging/loading toys, displaying signs and banners and positively promoting the event to passing vehicles or pedestrians.
